road 003.1 and 003.2

Mondiale offer two models of road frame, 003.1 and 003.2, built in Columbus XLR8R and Dedaccai V107 respectively. Both use carbon monostay seatstay assemblies, Columbus Carve in the former case, Deda Black Tail in the latter.

003.1 uses the special vibration damming "dimpled" version of the XLR8R tube set. 003.2 uses the superb blend of lighness and strength that makes V107 the definitive Dedaccai tube set. Unlike many other builders, Mondiale do not pander to the fashion for double pass, smooth welds, taking the recommendation of the tubing makers to use single-pass, unsmoothed welds.

Normally, we supply these frames in small, medium and large sizes, with extra small, extra large and custom geometry to order. We supply these frames with a USE carbon seatpin, as used by the CSC Division One professional team.
